David thrives in situations with multiple stakeholders and conflicting goals, and he brings strong consultative and organisational skills to deliver successful outcomes. He works productively and harmoniously with others, and has a natural ability to co-operate effectively on a practical level, pulling people together for a common purpose. He has a sixth sense when it comes to difficult negotiations and can arrive at successful commercial solutions whilst keeping everybody firmly and happily on board. It is these qualities that make David the glue of the Fowler Fortescue management team.

As an Estate Manager, with over 20 years’ experience of agricultural, residential and commercial property, David takes pride in tailoring his advice to suit each client’s requirements. His principal work is the management of a large and diverse estate in Hampshire. This includes a wide range of work including the letting of agricultural, commercial and residential properties; diversification projects; property maintenance; repair; renovation and conversion; strategic planning; estate cashflows & budgeting and strategic development opportunities.

David is the lead compensation surveyor for Thames Water in Reading, providing strategic advice on a wide range of complex compensation matters. It’s not therefore surprising that David is the utilities expert of the Fowler Fortescue team and has a wealth of knowledge on loss of business claims and large infrastructure projects.
