Anthony Fortescue - Fowler Fortescue – Independent Chartered Surveyors specialising in Rural Asset, Land & Estate Management

Anthony has spent nearly four decades advising across complex rural estates, known for his considered approach, discretion and long-standing involvement in estate stewardship.

Known for his analytical and measured approach, Anthony combines detailed technical knowledge with patience, judgement and an ability to build long-term trust with clients. His work has focused on providing strategic oversight across estates, guiding decision-making through periods of change and ensuring continuity across generations.

Over the course of his career, he has advised a number of large and established estates across the South of England, working across estate management, property matters and wider strategic considerations. He has also been closely involved in off-market transactions, where discretion, confidentiality and long-term relationships are critical to successful outcomes.

Alongside his estate work, Anthony has held directorships and advisory roles across a range of businesses connected to estates, including leisure, tourism and events, bringing a broader commercial perspective to estate management and diversification.

Anthony is known for his calm and considered manner, alongside a detailed understanding of estates and how they evolve over time, and is regarded as a source of esteemed and trusted counsel to the firm.
