Key Experience

Paul has over 18 years’ experience in the management of land and estates. He is a Director of Fowler Fortescue.

Paul works across Dorset, Wiltshire and Hampshire alongside a strong network of contractors and professionals to help deliver the needs of the estates he manages. He prides himself on achieving his clients’ aims however ambitious they may sometimes seem.

Paul has considerable experience of delivering diversification projects from initial concept through to project completion and letting. A recent example was the conversion of a redundant walled garden and buildings to a farm shop, café and school for mentally and physically disabled children. It has been a great success both for the estate and community with a sizeable number of jobs created for such a rural setting.

Paul formulates strategies with his clients to help them mark the stewardship of their estate. This includes generational tax and financial planning.

Paul is also a Director of his family farming business in Dorset which has a variety of enterprises including in hand and contract farming for neighbours, a game larder business and a solar park.

Interests

Paul lives near Salisbury and is married with 2 children. He is a keen supporter of country sports and particularly enjoys working his dogs and point to point racing. He is Vice Chairman of the Dorset CLA and Chairman of the Dorset and Wiltshire Poultry Society.
