Jonathan Bury
Jonathan has over 15 years’ experience of agricultural, residential and commercial property management. He has recently joined Fowler Fortescue as an Associate Director. Prior to that he spent 2 years working for a national property management company where he dealt with predominantly large institutional landowners as well as some private client work. Before that he was one of the resident agent team at a large internationally known estate in south Gloucestershire where he was involved in generational change and future estate planning.
Jonathan has a track record of strategically reviewing estate assets and delivering projects to provide additional rental income or maximising assets for disposal, enabling reinvestment into the estate or restructuring the finances of the estate.
Jonathan particularly enjoys engaging with other stakeholders (planning consultants and contractors for example) to develop projects for his clients. He is a hands-on Land Agent and Manager and gets the best out of the estate team through his regular presence on site. Jonathan has a wide network of fellow professionals with whom he collaborates to ensure the best long-term outcomes for the client and their estate can be achieved.
Jonathan has worked for a wide variety of clients such as private individuals, trusts, charities and limited companies. This breadth of client range brings experience benefiting all his clients. He is meticulous and forward thinking. He embraces the use of modern cloud-based technology for estate management including management of tenancy agreements, compliance record keeping, coordination of repair and maintenance schedules, and budgeting purposes. The efficient management of the basics enables his time to be used progressing other estate projects.
Jonathan is a committee member for both the Hants, Wilts and Dorset Agricultural Valuers and for the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust, Wiltshire branch.
