Key Experience

Anthony has over 32 years’ estate and land management experience. He is a founder Partner and Senior Director of Fowler Fortescue.

Anthony’s clients include several large and prestigious estates across the South of England. He is an active Director of a leisure and tourism business; an events business and a Direct Debit company He is also personal representative for a dynamic diversified estate; appointed executor and power of attorney for several of his long standing clients.

Anthony understands how each of his clients want to mark their stewardship of their estate. He then develops a strategy with them to achieve that endeavouring to make the process of delivery rewarding and enjoyable for the client and all involved

These strategies inevitably include generational tax and estate financial planning but as importantly they include innovative ideas and ways of improving the estate for future generations.

Examples of such innovation include the restructuring of traditional let estates to more vibrant in hand business; expanding existing enterprises often ‘off estate’ to give a less emotionally restrictive asset; capitalising on owners’ strengths to build businesses that interest and suit them e.g. leisure, tourism, minerals, new build including re-designing and re-invigorating an entire street.

Anthony prides himself on discretion and confidentiality which has been instrumental in completing more than £60m of ‘off market’ sales and purchases in the last few years.

Interests

Anthony lives in Dorset and is married with 3 children. In his spare time he is a groundsman come hobby farmer with an interest in pigs and poultry. He is a keen photographer and enjoys traveling abroad.
