Key Experience
Rebecca has over 20 years’ experience in all aspects of residential, agricultural and commercial property management. She works with a diverse portfolio of clients across the West of England, customising her advice and services to suit individual requirements.
Rebecca has a sound knowledge of property law and an acute commercial awareness. She has a first-hand knowledge of agricultural matters from her family background.
Rebecca is skilled in the long-term management of estates with particular focus upon finance restructuring, renegotiation of leases to improve taxation position and the identification of assets for redevelopment. This is particularly relevant on the various family-owned estates she manages.
Career highlights include the negotiation a 30-year lease of a 42,000 acre estate in Scotland. Obtaining planning permission for 5MW biodigester on a redundant dairy farm and the renegotiation of AHA tenancies resulting in a vastly improved IHT position.
Since 2015 Rebecca has been project managing the extensive and sensitive renovation and extension of a Grade 1 listed country house and gardens in Dorset. Rebecca has worked closely with a network of professionals including architects, building and quantity surveyors, designers and planning consultants whilst managing teams of contractors and estate staff.
Rebecca is actively involved in her family farming business in Somerset, including a regionally renowned farm shop.
Interests
Rebecca lives with her husband near Bruton on their own farm. They own and manage their own restaurant and property portfolio.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her many nieces, nephews and God children, cooking, floristry, interior design as well as, dog walking, wild swimming and country sports. She is actively involved in village life.
